Kent and Masters saddles (like the Thorowgood, Fairfax and Hastilow Concept saddles) are built on the versatile and adjustable simatree. They are crafted with your horse in mind with panels flocked with the finest British wool. The S-series mirrors many of the popular thorowgood T8 saddles with the added feature of being completely leather. These saddles are largely "off the rack" with minimal customization available.

S-Surface Block Dressage

Now with updated block to suit a larger variety of riders well.

Dressage specific, open-headed tree suited to a wide variety of conformations. Low profile panel design offers closer rider contact and remarkable saddle stability. Three girthing options allow the saddle to be girthed according to the horse’s movement.  Surface-mounted thigh block for enhanced in-saddle stability.

Original - Cob Dressage

This saddle is a great option for an adjustable tree to suit a broader backed horse. It has a flatter profile and a shorter gullet plate to accommodate the contour and shoulders of these horses.

This low profile saddle is designed to fit the low withered, broad backed Cob types. The tree shape, slim-line panels and girth strap arrangement maximise saddle stability. Minimal bulk between horse and rider gives a closer contact feel, imperative for dressage. Luxurious hide knee pads and seat ensure maximum rider support and comfort. Suitable for flatwork and all levels of dressage

Original - PC Long Leg

Flap is cut forward in front of the point of the rider's knee to accommodate the leggy teenager or the adult pony rider. With a seat shape that helps develop an independent seat. Short panel design to fit short-backed ponies. Five girthing options.

S-Series Dressage

Built on the same versatile fitting tree with low profile panels as the 'S Series Surface Block', but with moveable under-flap thigh blocks, which can be repositioned as required. Ghosted stitching on the knee pad helps it contour neatly around thigh block for added rider comfort.

Universal GP

Our new S-Series Anatomic GP is bursting with features that both horses and saddle-fitters will appreciate. The new and patented panel design eliminates the part of the panel which can restrict the shoulder and replaces it with a versatile double knee block system.
The first advantage is that the horse does not have the panel restricting its shoulder, so the horse is able to move more freely.

The second is that the saddle will stay still even during big shoulder movements. On a conventional saddle, pressure at the front transmits to movement at the rear of the panel, causing instability for both rider and horse.

Thirdly, as the Kent & Masters S-Series Anatomic GP's under support blocks come in two different depths, and are easily inter-changeable, it provides a solution for horses with very large shoulders as well as enabling the rider to sit symmetrically on a horse with asymmetric shoulders!

As with all Kent & Masters saddles, it features SimaTree brand changeable gullet bars and adjustable girthing options, which further enable the fit to be customised for a wide variety of horses.

Ghosted stitching allows the knee pad to contour over the knee-roll and the hide-covered calf pads make this a high comfort GP. A universal fitting saddle with an open-headed tree and a broad panel design that interfaces well with most conformations. Cut far enough forward to allow for jumping and hunting, as well as schooling and hacking.

S-Series Jump

Built on a new tree with longer swept-back points to support the front of the panel and allow freer shoulder movement. Seat is shaped to enable the rider to dynamically adjust their centre of balance over the fence. Broad panels and girthing options maximise contact and saddle stability.

Universal GPD

This saddle will suit you if you prefer to concentrate on flatwork, dressage and hacking instead of jumping. It has a generous seat for riders who like the feel of ‘more room’ in the seat, or if you are slightly wider in the hips.

This saddle is another great option for endurance and trail riding with the addition of rings possible.

S-Compact GP

Compared to our Original GP model, the Compact GP is compact for its size, has a neat seat, slimmer rear gussets and the tree is shorter and slightly flatter on the underside. This saddle is ideal for shorter backed, croup high or flat backed horses. It is a very good option for the petite rider on a large pony/small horse.
Ghosted stitching allows knee pad to contour over the knee-roll and hide-covered calf pad make this a high comfort GP. Cut forward enough to accommodate a jumping leg position.  Open-headed tree and well-balanced panel make this a very universal fitting saddle.
